NTHPA  MEETING MINUTES

1.    13 members in attendance.
2.    No treasury report.
3.     Labor Day Texas Shootout (Regionals) was be held at Hearne was a good success.  About 30 pilots in attendance.   Due to rainy conditions an alternative fly-in was held at Packsaddle Mtn.    Hay bales were all over the field at Hearne and make scooter towing impossible.   The Houston Tow club had a trike tug;  but would not allow non-members to use their rig.   Dallas and Austin groups did payout winch towing.  About 10 Dallas area pilots were in attendance.  Everyone had fun.
4.     Nationals at Big Springs:  42 pilots – everyone had a good time and no injuries.   Moderate conditions and long tasks flown.   Locals in attendance:   Greg,  Pete & Tre.
5.    2004 USHGA awards nominations are due by 10/1/2004
6.    John Russell farewell toast.   We all wished John the best in his move and new life.   Lots of older members showed to say good-by.
7.    Tre showed his latest DVD film of flying.
