NTHGA Meeting Minutes 7 October 1999
Attendance: 13 members, 4 guests, some kids
Meeting started at 19:42
President Bob C. absent, Vice President Lynda W. presiding
I. Guests welcomed and introduced
II. Minutes read and accepted
III. Old Business
A. Buffalo Mountain Annual Meeting to be November
13th at Chevy's in evening
B. No news on the South Site
C. Pilot Point renewal coming up -- pay money to
Duane or Tre
D. Curtis Grazcyk mentioned a Mansfield site with
a 3500' TCA
E. Fall Fly In in October? Some would like to have
one at Pilot Point, but no actual plans made
F. Discussion of a potential Dam Fly In at Lake Ray
Roberts
G. Packsaddle is NOT having any pro rata fees
H. Pete is in the Guadalupes with several members
I. Alamagordo trip is not happening over Columbus
Day weekend
J. The Alps trip will be next year in August or
July and can be for several days to a month long;
Talk to Duane or Tre for info
IV. Mostly New Business
A. Nominations for Officers will be next meeting
B. Nominations for Awards will be next meeting
C. Andy Piziali brought up the topic of a possible
change in the Mission Statement of the USHGA to
either include or exclude powered flight such as
the Mosquito harness and powered paragliders
D. Andy P. shows off his collector's edition empty

E. Treasury Report from Gary S. -- we have $580.21
F. No one has plans for flying over Thanksgiving
G. Warren P. brings up the USHGA chapter
reinstatement, Marina G. says it is already done
